Vancouver and Cruising

Sorry it has taken so long to put some photos up, but at US$28 per hour for internet on the cruise ship, we figured the money was better spent on drinks...

Despite this being a holiday, we haven't had time to relax, so unfortunately haven't had time to put together any text to let you know what we have been up to, but hopefully these pictures will give some idea!
Sunbathing (yes, sunbathing) in Vancouver with Shaz:

Beautiful rhododendrons in Vancouver:

With Mum, with the Vancouver suburbs behind us:

Me and Vancouver
The good ship Radiance of the Seas
Our stateroom (everything is very posh, couldn't just call it a cabin!)
The pools, all heated of course... With the carbon footprint of cruise ships, I will never again feel guilty about flying!
The central core of the ship
The indoor pool
The rock-climbing wall which I ran out of time to use!
Mum preparing for the evacuation drill
"Set Sail" cocktails on deck
More cocktails
The beautiful city of Vancouver
Lion's Gate Bridge
Gorgeous night to set sail!

Bit more rugged up now... cruising up towards Ketchikan, our first stop
Annie on deck
Whale watching, Archer style, with a glass of wine in hand!
All frocked up for our first formal night!
Annie's dream come true, a picture with a Mountie!
Can't complain about the view!

26 days to go...

Only 26 days until I head to Vancouver to see Kez and Shaz, then board a cruise to Seward, Alaska, and then attempt to drive around Alaska with my Mum and her sister, Annie before heading to Canada to see my brother. It should be an adventure! Just the first of many adventures this year I am sure...
